Tim Locum

Head Basketball Coach

Originally from the Chicago area, Tim Locum attended Flora High School in downstate Illinois. Flora High School was Illinois's winningest boys' basketball program from 1980 to 1990. Tim was named first-team, All-State, following his senior season (28 ppg), and he graduated as the school's career scoring leader (2,074 points). Tim earned a scholarship to the University of Wisconsin and was a four-year player, two-year starter, and captain. Tim graduated in 1991 with 1,077 points scored, and 4th all time in NCAA history for career 3pt FG% (.472). Tim was inducted into the IBCA (Illinois Basketball Coaches Association) Hall of Fame in 2011.

The 2022-23 season will be Coach Tim's 30th year coaching high school or college basketball, in addition to numerous seasons coaching youth basketball at all levels. The past eight seasons for Coach Tim have been spent at Millard South High School, and I am convinced more each year that a player who is fundamentally sound with the ball and can put it in the basket at a high rate will always be coveted by good coaches. Coach Tim said, "I am excited to see the One Gym concept for shooting and skill improvement come to fruition!" We are proud to have Tim as one of our top private basketball trainers at our Omaha youth basketball coaching center.
